India is geared up to host third successive BWF World Tour event â BWF Odisha Masters â post the completion of Syed Modi International and Guwahati Masters. On Sunday, (September 10th) in unfortunate scheme of things former world champion Nozomi Okuhara found it tough to find accommodation which she revealed on her social media account.
In one of her stories posted on Instagram she mentioned the hotel staff saying, âWe donât have booking. And today is full.â After few hours, the Japanese international finally found a hotel room upon the intervention from the tournament officials.
During the recently concluded Syed Modi International 2023, a foreign shuttler had mentioned about the poor court conditions in Lucknow at the Babu Banarasi das Indoor Stadium. Later, the officials looked into the issue and the matches were held without much fuss.
