Indonesia are the most successful country at this event.

Led by Lee Zii Jia, Malaysia will aim to defend the men’s title at the Badminton Asia Team Championships 2024 in Shah Alam. In the women’s event, Indonesia will seek to retain their crown, especially with heavyweights and silver medalists in 2022, Korea, opting out with An Se Young injured.

Taking place from February 13-18, the tournament serves as the Asian qualifier for the Thomas and Uber Cups, scheduled for Chengdu, China, from April 28 to May 5. Alongside Malaysia, India and Japan are the strong contenders for the men’s team title.
