The Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2025 will be the fourth edition of the tournament. The tournament is held biannually, and the 2025 edition will be held from 11-16 February at the Conson Gymnasium in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China. Hosts and defending champions, China, will aim for hat-trick of titles.
The inaugural edition in 2017 saw Japan clinch the gold medal defeating Korea in the finals. China and Thailand won the bronze medal respectively in the first edition. In the second edition, China defeated defending Champions Japan in the final to clinch the title. Indonesia and the host Hong Kong won the bronze medal respectively.
In the last edition, defending champions China successfully defended their title by defeating South Korea in the finals. India and Thailand won the bronze medal in the 2023 edition.
In the 2025 edition, a total of 13 teams will participate in the tournament and are divided into four groups. Each group will have three teams, and one group will have four teams. There are four seeds as well in the tournament.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarterfinals. There will be no bronze medal match, and both the losing semi-finalists will be awarded the bronze medal.

India are in group B with South Korea and Macau. A pretty straightforward group for India and the nation will look to defeat Korea to top the group to get a relatively easier opponent and avoid the top four seeds in the quarterfinals.
With the likes of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty, HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen, PV Sindhu, Dhruv Kapila/Tanisha Crasto and Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand, India are a targeting a second medal in the tournament.
