As the BWF World Tour moves to Singapore following the Malaysia Masters, several top shuttlers will look to continue their momentum at the Super 750 event.

Former champion Shi Yuqi enters the tournament as the top seed in men’s singles alongside reigning champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn, Denmark’s Anders Antonsen, Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie and India’s Lakshya Sen. Li Shifeng will also arrive with confidence after clinching the Malaysia Masters 2026 title.

In women’s singles, Olympic champion An Se-young headlines the draw alongside China’s Wang Zhiyi and Chen Yufei, former world champion Akane Yamaguchi and Thailand stars Ratchanok Intanon and Pornpawee Chochuwong.

India’s challenge will be led by two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu along with Malvika Bansod and Unnati Hooda.

The doubles categories are also expected to feature intense competition with several world-class combinations in action.

South Korea’s Kim Won-ho and Seo Seung-jae headline the men’s doubles field alongside India’s Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik and Indonesia’s Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

In women’s doubles, reigning world champions Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning will compete alongside Malaysia’s Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan and South Korea’s Lee So-hee and Baek Ha-na.

India’s Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand have withdrawn from the tournament, leaving Ashwini Bhat K. and Shikha Gautam as the country’s leading pair.

The mixed doubles draw features top seeds Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping along with Thailand’s Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Supissara Paewsampran, Malaysia’s Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei and Hong Kong pair Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet.

India’s Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto, alongside Rohan Kapoor and Ruthvika Shivani Gadde, will also look to make a strong impact.

As a BWF Super 750 event, the Singapore Open 2026 offers crucial ranking points in the race for the World Tour Finals and world rankings. With a total prize pool of US$1,000,000, the tournament is among the biggest stops on the BWF World Tour calendar.
