BWF US Open 2025: All you need to know about prize money & points on offer

The total prize pool of US Open 2025 is US$240,000.
The 60th edition of the BWF US Open is being played from June 24 to June 29 at the Council Bluffs in Iowa. Qualification and first-round matches were played on the first two days, while further round matches began on June 26. The finals will be played on June 29.
Among others, two young Indian shuttlers have advanced to the final of BWF US Open 2025. Ayush Shetty, 20, will face Brian Yang in the men’s singles final while 16-year-old Tanvi Sharma will clash against the experienced and home favourite Beiwen Zhang in the WS title match.
Tanvi has already scripted history by reaching the final, making her the youngest Indian to qualify for the BWF Tour final at 16.

Points on offer at BWF US Open 2025

As mentioned above, points are awarded as per all Super 300 events. The winner will get 7,000 points, while the runner-up will get 5,950 points.
Players reaching the semi-finals received 4,900 points, while players losing in the quarterfinals received 3,850 points. A second-round finish assures a player/pair of 2,750, while a first-round loss will mean 1,670 points.

According to BWF rules, the total prize pool for the US Open 2025 is USD 240,000. The winners in both singles categories will receive USD 18,000, while their counterparts in the doubles event will get USD 18,960.
The runners-up in all five categories will obtain USD 9,120. The losing semi-finalists in the singles events took home USD 3,480, while those in the doubles received USD 3,360.
In the individual events, an amount of US$1,440 is reserved for the players who lost in the quarter-finals, while in the doubles category, the losers get US$1,740. In case of a second-round defeat, the sum on offer in the singles sections is USD 840, while the pairings in the three doubles categories pocket USD 900.
