Syed Modi International 2025: All you need to know about prize money & points on offer

The total prize pool is 240,000 USD (approx. 2,14,00,00 INR).
The Syed Modi International 2025 is being played from November 25 to November 30 at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium in Lucknow.
Qualification and first-round matches were played on the first two days, while further round matches began on November 27.
This is the last tournament on the BWF Calendar before the BWF World Tour Finals in December. Since it is a Super 300 event, many marquee players across all five categories have withdrawn.
In fact, Jason Teh and Treesa Jolly/ Gayatri Gopichand are the only participants to feature in the top 20 of the BWF World Rankings.
Jason, Unnati Hooda, Pruthvi Roy/K. Sai Pratheek, Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand Pullela and Terry Kai/ Jin Yu Jia are the top seeds in the five categories.
A number of fringe players, who have a golden opportunity here, will be looking to create flutters and challenge the above names.
A massive number of Indian players will have their presence in the competition, across the Qualifiers and the Main Draw. It is worth noting though that PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen (both of whom are defending champions), Ayush Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty have decided to not participate here.
Veterans HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth will be looking to end the season on a high. Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand are trying to gain some form after a long injury enforced layoff.
Meanwhile, youngsters like Kiran George, Hooda, Anupama Upadhyaya and Rakshitha Sree Santhosh Ramraj will be looking to make an impression.
