Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap had announced their separation on July 14 after six years of marriage.

Just weeks after announcing their separation, Indian badminton stars Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap appear to be giving their relationship another shot.

On 2nd August (Saturday) Saina took to her Instagram to share a heartwarming picture of the two smiling together against a picturesque mountain backdrop. The caption read, “Sometimes distance teaches you the value of presence. Here we are—trying again.”

The post quickly drew attention, fans flooded the comments section with love, support, and good wishes for the couple.

Saina, London 2012 Olympics medallist, and Parupalli, who became the first Indian male shuttler to reach the Olympic quarterfinals the same year, got married in 2018. Over the past six years, they have been one of Indian badminton’s most admired couples.

However, on 14th July 2025, Saina had publicly announced their decision to separate. “Life takes us in different directions sometimes. After much thought and consideration, Kashyap Parupalli and I have decided to part ways,” she wrote on her Instagram then.

“We’re choosing peace, growth, and healing for ourselves and each other. I am grateful for the memories and wish nothing but the best moving forward,” the heartfelt note added.

But with this recent post, it seems the couple is re-thinking that decision and giving another chance. The beautiful Instagram post suggests that the story of Saina and Kashyap might not be over just yet.
