The China Open 2026 Final will be played on July 26.

The stage for the final of the China Open 2026 is set. Chinese Taipei’s Chou Tien-chen will face France’s Toma Junior Popov in the summit clash of the tournament in the men’s singles event.

Both players have given stellar performances to reach the final, and coincidentally, Tein-Chen and Popov are both playing their first China Open final. Thus, the final is expected to be an exciting clash.

Chou Tien-chen, who is playing his fourth Super 1000 final, has already become the oldest player to reach the final of any Super 1000 event. Meanwhile, Popov, who has primarily excelled in Super 100 events, has scripted history by reaching the final in Changzhou.

Defending men’s singles champion Shi Yuqi, who was expected to retain his title, was knocked out by Chou Tien-chen in the quarter-final in a three-game thriller. Meanwhile, three out of the four opponents Popov has faced on his route to the final were non-Asians.

Feng Yan Zhe and Huang Dong Ping will face Guo Xin Wa and Chen Fang Hui in the mixed doubles final in the first final game of the day.

The game will be followed by the women’s doubles final, the pair of Lui Sheng Shu/Tan Ning and Fuki Fukushima/Mayu Matsumoto.

The women’s singles final will be played between the third seed, Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi, and the fourth seed, China’s Chen Yu Fei.

The men’s singles final will be the fourth game of the day before Kim Won Ho and Seo Sueng Jae take on Fajar Alfain and Muhammad Shohubu Fikri in the men’s doubles event final.

With a lot of unexpected action unfolding in the tournament’s earlier stages and the intermediate stage, the final is expected to offer plenty of action.
