The six teams who will stand third in each group will play another qualifier from which the top 4 will qualify for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025. In the previous edition held in Indonesia in 2022, India finished last (16th) by losing in all the group stage matches to Lebanon, New Zealand and Philippines.
