India are in a tough group at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025.

The FIBA Asia Cup 2025 will take place from August 5 to 16 at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. China are the most successful nation in the competition with 16 titles to their name. They are pitted in Pool C alongside the hosts, India, and Jordan.

Meanwhile, defending champions Australia are drawn in Pool A with South Korea, Lebanon, and Qatar. Pool B consists of Guam, Japan, Syria, and Iran, while Chinese Taipei, New Zealand, Iraq, and the Philippines are pitted in Pool D of the tournament.

The Indian men’s basketball team are in a tough group and are unlikely to reach the next round of the competition. In the previous edition held in Jakarta, the Asian nation finished last in the tournament.

All participating nations will play three matches in the group stage, followed by the playoffs, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the finals. The fourth-placed team from the four groups will be eliminated following the league stage.
