Two-time Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra will aim to win his second gold medal at the Commonwealth Games when he steps into the field in Glasgow.
Chopra will be in action in the men’s javelin throw qualification event on July 30, before he features in the final on the subsequent day, July 31.
A two-time Olympic medallist, Chopra, won gold at the 2018 Gold Coast Games; however, he did not participate in the 2022 edition due to injury.
Meanwhile, he is likely to face tough competition at the 2026 Glasgow Games, as he will be competing against defending Olympic and Commonwealth champion Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan.

Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage is also enjoying a great season, adding another layer to the javelin rivalry.
