Akash Deep dismissed Nitish Reddy for a golden duck in the Duleep Trophy 2024 tournament.

Right-arm speedster Akash Deep displayed an impressive bowling performance on the first day of the India A vs India B match in Bengaluru in the Duleep Trophy 2024 tournament. The Bengal speedster dismissed Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy on consecutive deliveries, the latter with a peach.

The incident happened during the 36th over of India B’s innings when India A skipper Shubman Gill brought right-arm speedster Akash back into the attack. On the second ball of the over, Akash removed Rishabh Pant for just seven runs. Skipper Gill took a terrific diving catch at mid-off.

On the next ball, the right-arm pacer removed Nitish Kumar Reddy for a golden duck with a stunning delivery. Akash bowled a length delivery on the off-stump towards Reddy.

However, the ball nibbed away a little and clattered into the top of the off-stump after beating Reddy’s outside edge.
