[Watch] Former CSK star Ambati Rayudu treats CSK players with Hyderabadi Biryani ahead of their clash against SRH

Ambati Rayudu retired from Indian cricket after winning the IPL 2023 title with CSK.

Ambati Rayudu, the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) cricketer, treated his ex-teammates from the franchise to the famous Hyderabadi biryani as the team preps for their high-voltage encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024 on April 5.

The match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad. CSK have played three matches and won two of them, while SRH have played three games as well and lost two, winning only one.

The CSK players arrived in Hyderabad on April 2, Tuesday. Chennai will play their second away game before returning to their citadel at Chepauk. CSK lost their last game of the season to Delhi by 20 runs at Vizag.

Ambati Rayudu’s historic IPL career finished on a triumphant note, as CSK won their fifth title last year. He took up commentary duties for the 17th season of the lucrative league.

Dhoni urged Rayudu to lift the IPL title in 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, and the former India great shared the stage with his former captain and Jadeja in a poignant moment. However, he continued to express his admiration for his previous team and its players.

‘Biryani time’ for Chennai Super Kings in Hyderabad at Ambati Rayudu’s house

The CSK players relished a Biryani party organized by their former teammate, Ambati Rayudu in Hyderabad. The CSK franchise shared a stunning photo on their social media account, including the CSK players. The Super Kings stars, including Ravindra Jadeja, Deepak Chahar, Shivam Dubey, and Mukesh Chaudhary, were all smiles as they posed beside host Rayudu.  

The Super Kings players took advantage of their four-day break between matches when Rayudu treated them to Hyderabad’s signature meal. This was not Rayudu’s first time hosting the Super Kings. During the IPL 2023, he hosted a biryani celebration for the CSK squad.
