Arshdeep Singh gets brutally trolled as he gets out while slogging with one run to win in first SL vs IND ODI

Arshdeep Singh got out for a golden duck in the first ODI against Sri Lanka, which ended in a tie.

India pacer Arshdeep Singh had a nightmarish moment with the bat though as he got out for a golden duck while attempting a slog when his side needed only one run to win with one wicket in hand in the first SL vs IND ODI.

India and Sri Lanka played out a thrilling ODI match on Friday at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo to kick off the three-match ODI series. The match ended in a tie, which is the second tied ODI between these two teams.

In the chase of 231, India were close to the finishing point at the score of 230/8, with Shivam Dube having smoked a couple of sixes.

However, Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka turned it around for his side. He first dismissed Dube lbw and then got Arshdeep out in the same manner. It was the choice of Arshdeep’s shot that has baffled everyone.

With just one run required and more than two overs to go, Arshdeep went for a wild slog on the first ball that he faced. He missed the ball and was trapped lbw.

While the Sri Lankans celebrated wildly, the Indians were left stunned by Arshdeep’s poor and irrational shot selection. From the Indian players in the dugout to the fans watching, everyone was left baffled by Arshdeep’s attempted slog.
