5. Habibul Bashar – 3026 runs
Former captain Habibul Bashar is the fifth-highest run-getter for his nation in test cricket. The right-handed batter scored 3026 runs in 50 tests at an average of 30.87. Bashar notched up 24 half-centuries and three hundreds in his playing days in whites.
4. Mominul Haque – 4143 runs
Middle-order batter Mominul Haque has made 4143 runs in 63 test matches till now. The left-handed batter has a decent average of 38.36. Mominul has recorded 12 centuries and 19 half-centuries. Mominul is in the fourth position on the list of most test runs for Bangladesh.
3. Shakib Al Hasan – 4543 runs
Veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is most probably the greatest Bangladeshi cricketer till now. Shakib has been contributing to his team’s cause for 18 years.
In test cricket, Shakib has scored 4543 runs in 69 matches at an average of 38.50, including five centuries and 31 half-centuries till now. The senior batter is in third place in the tally of the most runs for his nation in test cricket.
2. Tamim Iqbal – 5134 runs
Veteran opener Tamim Iqbal has played 70 test matches till now, in which the left-handed batter made 5134 runs at an average of 38.89, with 10 centuries and 31 half-centuries. Tamim is his country’s second-highest test scorer.
1. Mushfiqur Rahim – 5892 runs
Senior wicket-keeper batter Mushfiqur Rahim is the leading test run-scorer for Bangladesh. In a test career that began in 2005, Rahim has scored 5892 runs in 90 tests till now at an average of 39.01, with the help of 11 centuries and 27 half-centuries.
