29th June was a memorable day for all the Indian fans and cricketers. India scripted history as they became the first team to win the ICC T20 World Cup undefeated. Emotions were high as the Indian Cricket Team ended the drought of 11 long years without an ICC trophy. They came close on multiple occasions, but faltered either in the semi-final or the final. It was heartbreaking for the players and the fans all these years.
The most heartbreaking moment was just seven months ago when India lost the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final against Australia in Ahmedabad. India were ruthless and dominant throughout the whole tournament having won all 10 games dominantly until the final. The whole nation was sad and so were the players. They deserved to win the tournament given the way they played. Captain Rohit Sharma was heartbroken as his dream was to win the ODI World Cup. However, he and his team promised to give their all to bring the T20 World Cup 2024 back home.
