Top 5 best bowling figures in Duleep Trophy history
Only one bowler has taken 10 wickets in an innings in the Duleep Trophy history.
The Duleep Trophy is a domestic First Class (FC) cricket tournament in India. Its inaugural edition was played in 1961. The competition has mostly been played in the zonal format, with teams representing various geographical zones of the country.
However, there have been a few editions where the BCCI selected teams. There have been four editions between 2016–17 and 2019–20 in which the BCCI named three teams – India Blue, Red and Green. In the 2024-25 edition, the BCCI picked four teams, named Team A, B, C and D.
In this article, we will talk about a major bowling statistic in Duleep Trophy history: the best bowling figures in an innings in the competition.
Once each a bowler has taken a 10-wicket innings haul and a nine-wicket innings haul. We will look at them and more below.
