Best possible Lucknow Super Giants playing XI for IPL 2024 after auction

Lucknow Super Giants will be captained by KL Rahul in the IPL 2024.
The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) completed six new recruits to their team in the auction at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai ahead of the IPL 2024.
The team’s most costly purchase on the day was Indian bowler Shivam Mavi. The primary foreign additions to the squad were England all-rounder David Willey, who just retired from international cricket, and Australian batter Ashton Turner.
Manimaran Siddarth, a Tamil Nadu spinner, was purchased for Rs. 2.40 crore. Avesh Khan was replaced by Devdutt Padikkal, who was acquired from the Rajasthan Royals.
The arrival of Paddikal via trade seems like a good decision because it allows KL Rahul to satisfy his middle-order batting expectations. But the lack of experienced Indian pace options stands as a major concern, leaving the bulk of the weight of their expectation on Mark Wood.
Best predicted Lucknow Super Giants playing XI for IPL 2024 after auction:
The best possible playing XI for LSG sees Quinton de Kock and Devdutt Padikkal opening the innings. Kyle Mayers had done a banger of a job at the top and LSG can also bring him to the opening spot and push Padikkal to no.3 spot.
If not, then Deepak Hooda might get another hit at the No. 3 spot, especially after his poor IPL 2023. KL Rahul has said that he would prefer to bat in the middle order, which provides great strength to LSG batting. Along with Rahul, Nicholas Pooran, Marcus Stoinis, and Krunal Pandya will form the lower middle order and finishers.
Hooda will be asked to bowl spin as well, and partner Ravi Bishnoi in the slow bowling department. They also have Amit Mishra and K Gowtham as options as well.
As for the pacers department, Mark Wood will lead the charge along with Shivam Mavi and Mohsin Khan. They can also bring in Naveen Ul Haq in place of Wood for variety on slower surfaces.
Best Playing XI for LSG after IPL 2024 auction:
Quinton de Kock (Wk), Devdutt Padikkal, Deepak Hooda, KL Rahul (C), Krunal Pandya, Nicholas Pooran, Marcus Stoinis, Ravi Bishnoi, Shivam Mavi, Naveen Ul Haq/Mark Wood, Mohsin Khan.
