BPL 2024: Sylhet Strikers squad, schedule, timings, when and where to watch
Sylhet Strikers finished the previous BPL season as the runners-up.
The 10th season of the Bangladesh Premier League will commence on 19th January with Durdanto Dhaka taking on defending champions Comilla Victorians. BPL will be played across three venues in Bangladesh in five different phases. Sylhet, Dhaka and Chittagong are the three venues for BPL season 10. BPL season 10 will begin from Sher-e-Bangla national stadium in Dhaka, This ground will host the first phase of the tournament.
Sylhet Strikers will be opening their campaign against Chattogram Challengers in the opening day. Sylhet Strikers will be coached by former middle-order batter Rajin Saleh. Top-order batter Najmul Hossain Shanto will be leading Sylhet Strikers squad. Najmul Hossain Shanto recently served as Bangladesh skipper during their home and away series against New Zealand.
Sylhet Strikers have so far taken part in five BPL editions. Sylhet’s best result came in Bangladesh Premier League season nine. Sylhet lost to Comilla Victorians in the BPL 2023 finals. Sylhet Strikers have played 95 matches in the BPL and won 35 games. They have lost 58 games in Bangladesh Premier League. Sylhet have the worst winning ratio among all BPL sides.

Sylhet Strikers Owners
Sylhet Strikers is the newest entry in Bangladesh Premier League. Sylhet Strikers made their debut in 2017 edition of Bangladesh Premier League. Bangladesh famous IT-Specialist Shahed Muhit was the first owner of Syhtet Strikers. Future Group currently owns Sylhet Strikers in BPL. Sylhet will also host the phase two of the Bangladesh Premier League.
