Delhi Capitals full squad after IPL 2025 mega auction
Delhi Capitals bought KL Rahul for INR 14 crores at the IPL 2025 mega auction.
After failing to buy Shreyas Iyer and to use their RTM card on Rishabh Pant, the Delhi Capitals (DC) managed to secure the services of KL Rahul for INR 14 crores at the IPL 2025 mega auction.
Rahul, who has been released by Lucknow Super Giants, is very likely to be named the new DC captain for IPL 2025.
Other important purchases made by DC were Faf du Plessis, the former RCB and South Africa captain, fast bowler Mitchell Starc, who was the most expensive player at the last auction and helped KKR win the IPL 2024 title with match-winning spells in Qualifier 1 and the final, for 11.75 crores, which is a bargain price for Starc.
DC also got England star batsman Harry Brook for 6.25 crores.
They roped in two quality Indian seamers in T Natajaran and Mukesh Kumar, both for over 8 crores each.
Delhi had finished at the sixth spot in the points table last season.
Previously, DC had retained four players.

Wicket-keepers: KL Rahul (14 Cr), Donovan Ferreira (75 L)
All-rounders: Vipraj Nigam (50 L), Ajay Mandal (30 L), Manvanth Kumar (30 L), Madhav Tiwari (40 L)
Spinners: Tripurana Vijay (30 L)
Pacers: Mitchell Starc (11.75 Cr), T Natarajan (10.75 Cr), Mohit Sharma (2.20 Cr), Mukesh Kumar (8 Cr), Darshan Nalkande (30 L), Dushmantha Chameera (75 L)
