Dhruv Jurel took a diving catch to dismiss IND B captain Abhimanyu Easwaran for 13 runs.

Wicket-keeper batter Dhruv Jurel showcased his brilliant glovework when he took a stunning catch to dismiss opener Abhimanyu Easwaran during the India A vs India B Duleep Trophy 2024 match in Bengaluru on Thursday, September 5.

India B openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Easwaran gave their team a cautious start after India A captain Shubman Gill opted to field first. Jaiswal and Easwaran added 29 runs in the first 12 overs for India B.

India A pacer Avesh Khan, was brought back in the attack by skipper Gill to bowl the 13th over of the India B innings, with opener Easwaran on strike. On the fourth ball of the over, the opener smashed a poor delivery down leg for a boundary.

However, Avesh took his revenge on the final ball of the over by dismissing Easwaran, who went for a lavish drive towards off side.

The right-arm seamer Avesh bowled a ball outside off stump of Easwaran. The opener went for a booming drive but the ball took the outside edge and flew towards the slip cordon.

Wicket-keeper Jurel dived right in front of the first slip and took a stunning catch. Easwaran was dismissed after making 13 runs in 42 deliveries, which included one boundary.
