He was technically sound and had a temperament like a monk, which helped him succeed at the international level. Dravid represented India for 18 years between 1996 and 2012. In his career, he played 164 Tests, 344 ODIs, and one T20I. He is one of the few players to score over 10,000 runs in ODIs and Tests. Overall, he has scored 24208 runs at an average of 45.41, including 48 centuries and 146 half-centuries, with a best of 270.
