Full list of Indian cricketers to be conferred with the prestigious Arjuna Award

Mohammed Shami is the most recent Indian cricketer to receive the prestigious Arjuna Award.
The Arjuna Award is one of the biggest honors that is given to a sportsperson in India. It is also known as the Arjuna Awards for Outstanding Performance in Sports and Games. It is next best to the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. In 1961, a total of 20 individuals from different sports categories received this award from the government of India, of which seven were cricketers.
Salim Durani was the first Indian cricketer to receive this honor. So far, a total of 58 Indian cricketers have received the Arjuna Award, including 12 female cricketers. Veteran Indian pacer Mohammed Shami became the most recent cricketer to feature on this elite list for his immense contributions to the Indian men’s cricket team.
