Star batter Kevin Pietersen was sacked by the ECB after a year for a texting scandal against the then captain Andrew Strauss.

Kevin Pietersen was accused of sending derogatory texts about England’s captain Andrew Strauss to South African team members. England’s off spinner Graeme Swann has now openly talked about the entire saga that happened at that time, and he also revealed that He and KP hated each other.

While speaking to FOX Sports, Graeme Swan claimed that Kevin Pietersen was the man responsible for the all soap opera drama that took place in England Cricket after the 2013 Ashes loss. Swann said, “It was the most bizarre thing you know, you were living in a bit of soap opera”. Talking about Kevin Pietersen he said, “Kev is different to everyone else I have ever met in my life and once he also said that It is hard to be me in the dressing room… Yeah Kev because you f****d it up”. Talking about the saga, Swann added, “So yeah, He sent texts and then he had Piers Morgan do a YouTube video denying he did not send and now again he did do it, but he was just texting his friends”. Swann also claimed that Kevin Pietersen did damage to his reputation in the dressing room.

After the Texting scandal came out, the entire England team were called out for a meeting with management and proceedings went against England’s one of star batter Kevin Pietersen. After that, captain Alastair Cook had a chat with Graeme Swann about his stance on the matter. Talking to FOX, Swann said, “I and Kev never liked each other anyway, a lot of other people either liked him a bit or got on with him but I and Kev always hated each other”. Recently Kevin Pietersen claimed that he was unfairly targeted by his teammates. Swann called KP’s claim ‘B*******s’.

Swann said, “There was a general undermining of the captain and trying to get the captain and the coach sacked and generally being a bit of ‘k***b’ and ‘d*******s’, but we didn’t all know”. Australia won the Ashes 2013 by 5-0, and pacer Mitchell Johnson was on fire in that series. Almost every English batter struggled against him and that was the start of the downfall of England's Cricket in Tests after being Number One for a while.
