Gujarat Giants full squad after WPL 2026 mega auction

Gujarat Giants had retained only two players before the mega auction.

Gujarat Giants (GG) entered Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 mega auction with a giant purse, and they have assembled a competitive squad. Whether they have made the best use of their purse will be judged on their performance in the upcoming season, but they have some big overseas names who can guide them to their maiden WPL glory.

The highlight of the auction for Gujarat Giants was the New Zealand veteran Sophie Devine. The Kiwi all-rounder joined Gujarat for an astonishing sum of 2 crores. Another expensive overseas name in their roster was Georgia Wareham, who bagged 1 crore.

Their Indian core has the likes of Bharti Fulmai, Kashvee Gautam, Renuka Singh, and Rajeshwari Gayakwad, besides some young, promising players. Renuka Singh, fresh from ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 glory, has secured 60 Lakhs in the mega auction. Giants have also shown faith in Bharti Fulmali again, as they used the Right to Match card for the asking price of 70 Lakhs.
