Harbhajan Singh slammed a Pakistani journalist for comparing MS Dhoni with Mohammad Rizwan.

Former Indian off-spinner and member of the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup winning teams, Harbhajan Singh, never shies away from expressing his views on social media platforms and is one of the most active former Indian cricketers on social platforms. Recently, he schooled a Pakistani journalist over a comparison between former Indian captain MS Dhoni and Pakistan’s wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan.

MS Dhoni is one of the greatest captains of all time in history. He is also the only captain to have won all three ICC white-ball trophies in his career. Under Dhoni, India won the 2011 ODI World Cup, the 2007 T20 World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy, and Harbhajan was part of two events in 2007 and 2011. The former captain is still going strong in the Indian Premier League and has one of the best cricketing brains in history.

Harbhajan Singh schools a Pakistani journalist on comparing Mohammad Rizwan with MS Dhoni

Recently, Harbhajan Singh shut a Pakistani journalist in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), where he was comparing Dhoni and Rizwan. The journalist posted a picture of Dhoni and Rizwan and tweeted, “MS Dhoni or Mohammad Rizwan? Who is better? Tell me honestly.” That post caught the attention of the former off-spinner, and he couldn’t stop himself from responding to it. He gave a savage reply, which has now gone viral on X.

Harbhajan praised Rizwan, but said that it was wrong to compare both individuals as they are from different leagues. Harbhajan also wrote Dhoni is still No. 1 even today and no one is better than him behind the stumps.

He tweeted, “What r u smoking nowadays???? What a silly question to ask. Bhaiyo isko batao. DHONI bhut aage hai RIZWAN se Even if u will ask Rizwan he will give u an honest answer for this. I like Rizwan he is good player who always play with intent.. but this comparison is wrong. DHONI no. 1 even today in world cricket. None better than him behind stumps.”

Dhoni, who made his debut in December 2004, went on to become one of the finest captains in the game’s history. With his captaincy and batting prowess, he dominated the cricketing world. Adding to that, he was also an exceptional keeper and had lightning-fast hands. After retiring from international cricket in 2019, he is still active in the Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings.
