[Watch] Hardik Pandya welcomed in Baroda with a grand road show after winning ICC T20 World Cup 2024

Hardik Pandya was third highest wicket-taker for India with 11 wickets at the T20 World Cup 2024.
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya finally returned to his home town Baroda in Gujarat on July 15 after winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The star all-rounder was instrumental in India’s thrilling victory against South Africa in the grand finale of the global event on June 29 in Barbados.
The Indian vice-captain scalped 11 wickets and scored 144 runs in eight outings at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Hardik was also the third-highest wicket-taker for the Men in Blue after Arshdeep Singh (17) and Player of the Tournament Jasprit Bumrah (15).
In the final against South Africa, Hardik played a huge role for the Indian side. The all-rounder bowled three crucial overs and took wickets for Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, and Kagiso Rabada.
The India vice-captain also defended 16 runs in the final over of the chase. After winning the T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa, Hardik became very emotional and couldn’t control his tears on the pitch and even while giving post-match interview.
Pride of Vadodara: Hardik receives grand welcome after returning to his home town in Gujarat
After T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, star cricketer Hardik Pandya was part of the victory parade in Mumbai on July 4. However, after attending many other events, Pandya finally returned to his home town Baroda on July 15, where he received a grand welcome. The 30-year-old cricketer also attended a roadshow to celebrate the Indian cricket team’s success in the recently concluded ICC tournament.
During the roadshow, many fans gathered on the road to showcase their love and support for their local hero, Hardik.
Hardik’s brother, Krunal Pandya was also present at the roadshow. The open bus was seen having banner of Hardik where it was written “Hardik Pandya Pride of Vadodara.”
