106m! [Watch] Heinrich Klaasen smashes Lockie Ferguson for a gigantic six at Chinnaswamy

Heinrich Klaasen smashed 67 runs during his stay at the crease against RCB on Monday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) middle-order batter Heinrich Klaasen unleashed his destructive mode as he hammered a monstrous six of 106 meters, which sailed over the M. Chinnaswamy stadium, against Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) overseas pacer Lockie Ferguson on April 15.

The incident happened during the 17th over of the match, when Ferguson came into the attack. On the second ball of the over, the RCB speedster bowled a length delivery to Klaasen, and the batter smashed it straight down the ground for a gigantic 106-metre six. The ball sailed over the roof.

However, in the last ball of the over, Ferguson took his revenge as he took the wicket of dangerous Klaasen. The Hyderabad batter departed after amassing 67 runs off 31 deliveries, including two boundaries and seven sixes, for a strike rate of over 200.

Earlier in the innings, Hyderabad openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head gave the visitors a perfect start as they smashed 76 runs in the powerplay. The duo stitched a 108-run partnership before Sharma departed for 34 runs in the eighth over.

However, Head didn’t stop there, as he destroyed the RCB bowling line-up. He hammered his maiden IPL century in just 39 balls. However, after scoring his maiden century, the left-handed batter departed for 102 runs.
