Rishabh Pant made his test debut against England in August 2018.
Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant made his test debut against England in Nottingham in August 2018. Since making his debut, he has become one of India’s most successful test keeper-batters of all time and is a key cog in the middle order.
Since August 2018, Pant is India’s fourth-highest test run-scorer. And among keeper-batters who have played at least 10 tests for India, Pant’s average of 43 is the best.
The left-hander has produced several memorable innings, the most fondly remembered one is the 89* at the Gabba in 2021.
When everything was going well in Pant’s test career, Pant met with an unfortunate life-threatening car accident in December 2022. Thankfully, Pant survived the crash but was forced out of action for more than a year. He made his comeback in all three formats for India in 2024. His test comeback was completed in September 2024 with the home test series against Bangladesh.
In this article, we will take a look at Pant’s top five highest scores in test cricket.
