India have hit 250+ only twice in T20I cricket.

T20I cricket is known for explosive batting display, where a batter puts the least price on his wicket compared to the other two formats. There is risk involved as a batsman, but with only 20 overs to spend your resources on, batsmen have been rewired into playing with freedom and fearlessness.

This has resulted in several scores of more than 200, even by a team like the Indian cricket team, who were generally regarded to have conservative batsmen.

The Indian cricket team are a powerhouse in international cricket. The Asian Giants are two-time ICC T20 World Cup winners. Indian cricket has seen many talented and skilled batters in this format who have thrashed great bowling attacks.

On that note, let’s take a look at the top five highest team totals of the Indian cricket team in T20I cricket.
