The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be played from October 3 to 20 in the UAE.

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is cricket’s next global event. The tournament will be played across Sharjah and Dubai from October 3 to 20.

Originally, the competition was to be hosted in Bangladesh. However, the ICC shifted it to the UAE after governments of multiple participating nations raised concerns about travelling to Bangladesh amid the country’s unrest due to the student protests, which took a violent turn and forced former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to resign and flee the country.

Australia are the defending champions, having won the previous edition last year in South Africa. Australia have won the last three ICC Women’s T20 World Cups and will be aiming to make it four in a row.

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 format:
