The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is one of the most exciting and much-awaited women’s competitions as it sees the best women’s players in the world take centre stage.
So far, eight editions of this competition have been played. Australia are the most successful team in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup history, having won six titles, while England and West Indies have clinched the trophy once each.
Legends are made in ICC events as the players step up on the world stage to take their sides to victories. On that note, we will look at the winners of the Player of The Tournament (PoTT) award of all ICC Women’s T20 World Cups.

Her best knocks in the tournament were 75 (54) against Sri Lanka and 76* off 53 balls against Australia.

Though her side lost the final to Australia, Browne was adjudged the Player of The Tournament.

England captain Charlotte Edwards was the best batter of the 2012 edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup, by a distance. Edwards amassed 172 runs in five innings at an average of 43, finishing as the top scorer in the competition.

She played an aggressive brand of cricket, as reflected in her strike rate of 144.23.
As Australia clinched the title, Healy bagged the Player of The Tournament award.
