The second IND vs BAN test match will be played from September 27 to October 1 in Kanpur.

Shortly after India’s win in the first test against Bangladesh in Chennai, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced 16-member squad for the second test, which will be played in Kanpur from September 27.

The Rohit Sharma-led side thrashed Bangladesh by 280 runs in the opening test match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on September 22.

For the second test match, the selection committee has retained the same squad that was picked for the Chennai test. While many speculated rest for Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant, they’ve been included in the squad for second test as well.

Veteran opener Rohit Sharma will continue to lead the side. Notably, there is no designated vice-captain for the second test as well. Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel are the two wicket-keeping options.
