Then, a drizzle arrived in the last over of the first session and got a bit heavy as the players started to walk off for lunch.
The second session started with a 15-minute delay. However, nine overs into the second session, the umpires asked the players to walk off due to bad light. IND vs BAN: Kanpur weather forecast for day 2 of 2nd test (28 September)
On day 2 of the IND vs BAN Kanpur test, which is September 28, rain is predicted till 11 AM. And while rain is not forecasted until evening again, the sky will remain cloudy, which means bad light could force a halt in play, if it begins in the first place.
The forecast for September 29 is similar to September 28: rain in the morning and then cloudy weather.
The forecast for the last two days of this test, though, is promising, with the clouds to make way for some sunshine. Still, getting a result on a low and slow surface at Green Park while time being lost to the weather would be tough for both teams.
On day 1, Akash Deep took two wickets and R Ashwin took one scalp. For Bangladesh, three batters got starts but two of them are back in the dressing room.
