India won the first IND vs BAN T20I in Gwalior.

The young Indian side thrashed Bangladesh by seven wickets in the opening T20I match of the three-match series at the New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior on October 6.

After opting to bowl first, India bundled out Bangladesh for 127 runs in 19.5 overs. All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz top-scored with 35 runs, while none of the other batsmen could go past 30.

With the ball for India, Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy bagged three wickets each. Debutant Mayank Yadav, Washington Sundar and Hardik Pandya took one wicket apiece.

While chasing, Sanju Samson (29), captain Suryakumar Yadav (29) and all-rounder Hardik Pandya (39*) played brisk knocks to take the hosts to a seven-wicket win with 49 balls to spare.

IND vs BAN: Most Runs

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was the highest scorer of the match with an unbeaten 39. At the second place, we have Mehidy Hasan Miraz with 35 runs.

India opener Sanju Samson and captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 29 runs each. Bangladesh captain Najmul Hasan Shanto is behind them with 27 runs.

Indian speedster Arshdeep Singh and spinner Varun Chakravarthy both took three wickets each. Arshdeep is placed at the top of this chart as he bowled with better economy than Chakravarthy.

Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Indian pair of Washington Sundar and Mayank Yadav all took one wicket each.
