The hosts Zimbabwe started the five-match T20I series with a stunning win over ICC T20 World Cup 2024 winners India. The Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe defeated Shubman Gill-led India by 13 runs in the first of the five-match series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on July 6.

In less than 24 hours, both sides will meet once again in the second T20I match at the very same venue in Harare. The Gill-led India will look to bounce back in the second match and keep themselves alive in the series.

In the first T20I, Zimbabwe blew away the young India batting line-up. While chasing 116, India never looked like they would reach the target and they were ultimately bundled out for 102 runs.

However, the men in blue bowlers especially leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi had a good outing. Bishnoi picked a four-wicket haul against the hosts.

For Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe, they need to fix their batting as they were unable to put more runs on the board against a good India bowling attack. Their bowlers had a fantastic match in the first T20I, with skipper Raza taking the three wickets and being adjudged Player of the Match.
