India will begin their tour of South Africa with a 3-match T20I series starting 10th December.

After a heartbreaking loss in the final of the Cricket World Cup 2023, the focus is now shifting towards the T20 World Cup scheduled for 2024 in West Indies and the United States of America. India, following a 5-match T20I series against Australia, will be embarking on a multi-format tour to South Africa. The tour will include 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs, and 2 Tests, commencing on December 10. The last time these two teams faced each other in T20Is was in the 2022 World Cup, resulting in a 5-wicket loss for India.

Before the 2024 T20 World Cup, India have only two more series lined up – one against South Africa and the next against Afghanistan. This series holds significant importance for the players in terms of selection.

Team India have announced their 17-member squad for the 3 T20I matches.
