Top 5 Indian batsmen to hit most sixes in a calendar year in test cricket
Virender Sehwag has smashed the most sixes in test cricket for India.
Test cricket is a game that requires patience and concentration for long periods to succeed. The longest format of the game makes batsmen work hard for every run and requires them to grind their way past disciplined bowling attacks.
Indian pitches, famous for their unpredictable nature, however, at times demand the batsmen take on a more proactive approach. Without a proactive approach, batsmen risk falling to an unpredictable delivery before making any significant contribution.
Some Indian batsmen have tackled this challenge by taking an aggressive approach. Not only does this approach help accumulate quick runs, but also it disrupts the bowler’s line, length and rhythm.
Indian batsmen are known for their timing and elegance, using which they could smack sixes in any ground in the world.
