Indian Cricket Team home season 2024-25 schedule announced; 5 tests, 8 T20Is and 3 ODIs to be played
India will host Bangladesh, New Zealand and England in the 2024–25 home season
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India men’s senior team schedule for the upcoming 2024–25 home season. The Men in Blue will host Bangladesh, New Zealand, and England in the home season, which will begin in September.
Currently, the Rohit Sharma-led India are in the West Indies playing the ICC T20 World Cup in 2024. The Men in Blue finished Group A at the top with seven points and advanced to the Super 8 stage of the ongoing global tournament.
India to host Bangladesh, New Zealand and England in the upcoming 2024–25 home season
The Indian cricket team home season for 2024-25 will kick off in September 2024 with a two-match IDFC First Bank Test series against Bangladesh. After conclusion of the test series, the Men in Blue will then play Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series starting October 6.
After the conclusion of the Bangladesh series, the Indian cricket team will host New Zealand in a three-match test series from October 20 to November 5.
The first test against New Zealand will be played in Bengaluru, followed by the second test in Pune and the final game of the series at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The arrival of 2025 will see an exciting white-ball series against the England cricket team. The Indian side will first play a five-match T20I series against the Three Lions, from January 22, 2025, to February 2.
After the five-match T20I series, the Men in Blue and England will play a three-game ODI series. The first match will be played in Nagpur on February 6, followed by the second ODI in Cuttack and the final match on February 12 in Ahmedabad. The ODI series will help India prepare for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will take place right after the series.

England tour of India in 2025:

- January 25 – IND vs ENG – Second T20I – Kolkata
- January 28 – IND vs ENG – Third T20I – Rajkot
- January 31 – IND vs ENG – Fourth T20I – Pune
- February 2 – IND vs ENG – Fifth T20I – Mumbai
