Indian Cricket Team schedule for the remainder of 2023
India have a busy cricketing schedule in the remainder of the year with bi-laterals, Asia Cup and World Cup.
The first half of the Indian cricket team was a mixed bag as they won the limited-over series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand and then had an exciting four-Test series against Australia.
India came out victors in the first two Tests of the series, with Australia winning the third match and the last Test in Ahmedabad ended in a draw, giving India the series 2-1 they also retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as well for the fourth year running.
Then came a break in international cricket as the Indian players got immersed in the IPL 2023, after which they faced off against Australia in the final of the WTC 2023 final at the Oval in June, but lost that match heavily.
It was Indian Cricket Team's second straight defeat in the WTC final and left much to be pondered on.
India began their next World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle against the West Indies in the Caribbean and won the first Test in Dominica by innings and 141 runs. They had a good chance of winning the second Test in Trinidad as well, but rain spoiled sport, and Rohit Sharma and co. had to contend with a 1-0 series win.
