Both teams challenged each other nicely throughout the entire game. Lucknow’s debutant Yudhvir Singh started his IPL career with a bang. He gave Punjab two early blows by picking up Atharva Taide and Prabhsimran Singh in his first two overs. Sikandar Raza with his 57 also played a magnificent part in Punjab’s heroic chase against Lucknow. He anchored Punjab’s innings nicely toward Lucknow’s given target of 160 runs. Raza with small partnerships guided Punjab nicely.

In the afternoon game, Royal Challengers Bangalore had a comfortable victory over Delhi Capitals by 23 runs. RCB bowlers took the charge of the game in the second inning and provided RCB with an important win after two back to back losses. Delhi’s batting was poor once again.
