Lucknow successfully defended their 178-run target. With this win, they have also kept their hopes alive for playoffs. Mohsin Khan and Naveen ul Haq kept themselves calm against Tim David (32) and Cameron Green. Mohsin Khan conceded just 5 runs in the final over and defended 11 runs in the last over.

Batting first, Lucknow put up 177 runs with the help of Marcus Stoinis 89 runs inning. Captain Krunal Pandya (49) also chipped in with the bat.
