IPL 2024: Jerseys of all 10 teams participating in the tournament
Lucknow Super Giants (7/10):
Lucknow Super Giants have been consistent in the two seasons they have played. They have made the playoffs in both seasons. Adding to that, KL Rahul is also fit and will feature throughout the season. LSG will look to make it big this season and make this season memorable. The franchise didn’t make any changes to their kit and reused the same kit as that of the last year. However, LSG’s kit in their inaugural season in 2022 was the best till date.
Punjab Kings (8/10):
Punjab Kings, who will look to change their fortunes in the coming season, have made notable changes to their jersey. This team has only made the playoffs twice in 16 seasons, and their last top-four appearance was in 2014, so there is a lot to achieve. In their new jersey, they have a mix of red and fire theme in shades along with blue trousers. The sponsors’ logos of Dream11, Kent, and BKT are visible on their kit.
Kolkata Knight Riders (8/10):
The return of Gautam Gambhir can be a game-changing move for the two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders. The franchise has kept the traditional purple and gold colours in the new kit, with proper detailing on shirts and trousers. Dream11, Joy, and Lux Cozi are the main sponsors. However, the previous jersey for KKR was very catchy.
Mumbai Indians (8.5/10):
The five-time champions Mumbai Indians are certainly desperate to win a title here. For that, they have made some big changes, including getting a new captain. The franchise didn’t make much changes to their official kit from the last season and have a jersey with a dark blue colour and gold stripes, maintaining their theme – blue and gold. Their initial ‘M’ has been used in grid format all over the jersey. Slice, IDFC First Bank, and Jio are the main sponsors.
Rajasthan Royals (8.5/10):
The inaugural season winners, Rajasthan Royals will once again try their luck in the IPL 2024. Sanju Samson and his men have some really big names, which makes this team a serious contender if everything falls into place. The franchise is using a kit with a colour combination of pink and blue. Above the team’s logo on top left, there is a star indicating the 2008 win. The jersey has light white dots all over. Luminous, Red Bull, Jio, and other sponsors have a logo on the kit.
Gujarat Titans (8.5/10):
The 2022 IPL winners Gujarat Titans have a new captain in Shubman Gill. It will be interesting to see how the 24-year-old will handle and manage because there are some really big names like Kane Williamson, Matthew Wade, and David Miller in the team. Meanwhile, the franchise hasn’t made many changes to the new kit. Navy blue is mainly used with gold and white strips. Dream11, Capri Loans, BKT Tyres, and other sponsors’ logos are on their kit for the season.
Delhi Capitals (8.5/10):
Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals revealed their new kit with a detailing of classic red and blue colours. It has a tiger emblem on the left corner with a thunder-like pattern. Hero Fincorp is the title sponsor for the franchise.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (9/10):
The 2016 IPL winners Sunrisers Hyderabad were one of the first teams to reveal their official kit for the IPL 2024. Their newly revealed jersey has a traditional orange colour with black stripes all over. The trousers are black. Dream11, Wrogn, and Jio are among the main sponsors. They inspired this look from their sister-franchise Sunrisers EasternCape.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (9/10):
Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise finally ended the trophy drought when the women’s team won the WPL 2024 title most recently. It will certainly be the start of new things for the franchise, and now the expectations from the men’s are even bigger. The franchise has used red and blue as it’s main color in the new jersey which is different from previous seasons. Fans have liked the new combination.
Chennai Super Kings (9/10):
Chennai Super Kings will be defending their title in the IPL 2024. This could also be the final season for MS Dhoni, so the franchise will hope to give him a memorable farewell. The franchise unveiled their kit for the coming season in the traditional yellow colour with blue stripes. On the shoulders, the jersey has an army print with the team’s logo on the top left side. The jersey also has five stars on the front part of it, representing CSK’s five IPL title wins.
