IPL 2024: Updated purse value of all 10 teams after Hardik Pandya & Cameron Green trade

Sunrisers Hyderabad will enter IPL 2024 auction with the biggest purse value of INR 34 Crores.
It was an unbelievable day for the cricket fans, who were following the IPL retentions on November 26 (Sunday). Some unexpected deals and trades were made, which just blew the minds of the cricket experts. The biggest trade was made between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans. There have been rumours for the last couple of days that MI are looking to bring Hardik Pandya back to the side.
However, everyone was a bit surprised when Hardik was retained by GT. But then, within a couple of hours, the exclusive news was out that the all-rounder had been traded to Mumbai franchise for a price of INR 15 crore. However, MI didn’t have enough purse value to have him and then go into the auction. As a result, they released their most expensive player, Cameron Green (INR 16.5 crore).
MI had a purse value of INR 15.25 crore before Hardik’s inclusion. But then they released Green, which added another 16.5 crore to their kitty and took their account to 31.75 crore. And after trading in Hardik, their updated purse value is INR 17.75 crore, with which they will enter the IPL 2024 auction.
On the other hand, RCB, which had the biggest purse value after the retention sheet was submitted, which was INR 40.75 crore, and paid INR 16.25 crore for Green. Now, their updated purse value for the IPL 2024 auction is INR 23.25 crore. Notably, RCB will have to find some good bowlers in it because they have released 5–6 bowlers already.
