IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 10, DC vs SRH

DC defeated SRH by seven wickets in the 10th match of IPL 2025.

On Sunday, March 30, Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets in the 10th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, SRH had a disastrous start, collapsing to 37/4 within four overs. Mitchell Starc starred for DC in the powerplay, dismissing Ishan Kishan, Travis Head, and Nitish Kumar Reddy to put SRH on the back foot early on.

Youngster Aniket Verma played a vital knock for SRH, smashing 74 off 41 balls, including five fours and six sixes, to propel his team to 163. He found valuable support from Heinrich Klaasen, who contributed 32 in their crucial 77-run partnership for the fifth wicket.

Mitchell Starc registered the first five-wicket haul of this IPL season, finishing with figures of 5/35 in 3.4 overs.

In contrast, DC got off to a strong start with an 81-run opening stand between Faf du Plessis (50) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (38). The veteran South African batter dominated the scoring in the powerplay when McGurk was struggling to find his timing.

After their dismissals, KL Rahul, Abhishek Porel, and Tristan Stubbs played small but important knocks to steer the hosts to a seven-wicket victory.

IPL 2025: Updated points table after match 10

Thanks to a comfortable win, DC now have four points from two matches and sit second in the points table. SRH, meanwhile, remain on two points from three games, slipping to seventh below KKR but above CSK. RCB continue to top the table with four points and a superior NRR of +2.266.

LSG, GT, PBKS, and KKR occupy the third, fourth, fifth and sixth spots respectively. CSK sit in eighth place, while MI and RR occupy the bottom two spots with zero points.

IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)

Nicholas Pooran leads the run-scorers’ chart with 145 runs in the tournament. He is followed by GT’s Sai Sudharsan, who has moved to second place with 137 runs. SRH opener Travis Head has jumped to the third spot with a tally of 136 runs.

LSG’s Mitchell Marsh takes the fourth spot with 124 runs, while Aniket Verma has broken into the top five highest run-scorers of IPL 2025 with 117 runs.

Thanks to his fifer against SRH, Mitchell Starc now leads the wicket-takers’ chart with eight wickets. CSK’s Noor Ahmad sits in second place with seven wickets, while the initially unsold Shardul Thakur is third with six wickets to his name.

Josh Hazlewood and Kuldeep Yadav round out the top five, each with five wickets.
