IPL 2025: [Watch] IPL chairman Arun Dhumal asks crowd to vacate HPCA stadium in Dharamsala during PBKS vs DC clash

The PBKS vs DC, 58th match of IPL 2025, was called off due to technical issues.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) hosted Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium in Dharamsala on Thursday, May 8, in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. However, the clash was called off midway due to technical failures. Also, the spectators were urged to leave the stadium.
PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat first in the clash. Priyansh Arya (70) and Prabhsimran Singh (50*) slammed half-centuries to power the home side to a superb start. They also set up a record opening stand of 122 runs for the first wicket.
However, as Arya lost his wicket and Iyer took the field in the 11th over, the floodlights stopped working at the HPCA stadium. The match was expected to resume after a short break. However, it was eventually called off due to a power outage. Also, the stadium was evacuated due to security reasons.
