The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026 has begun and brought together several international superstars who are often considered the most reputed names in global T20 leagues. This marks the 14th edition of the CPL and features seven teams competing across 39 matches, with the final match scheduled to be played on the 20th September.
Among several notable names in the tournament, several players have tasted success in one of the most prestigious leagues in the world, the Indian Premier League. As is known to all, players like Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell and Sunil Narine currently feature in the CPL and have reputedly won several IPL titles. Hence, these players are not included on our list.
Here are five other IPL champions featuring in CPL 2026

1.Romario Shepherd

Romario Shepherd, the West Indian all-rounder, became an IPL champion with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the first time in 2025 when RCB won their maiden title by defeating the Punjab Kings in the final.
Shepherd was then part of the 2026 IPL season when RCB won the title for the second time in consecutive seasons. The all-rounder remains with the Guyana Amazon Warriors in CPL 2026.
2. Quinton de Kock

Quinton de Kock won the IPL twice, both times with the Mumbai Indians during his three-year stint with them from 2019. During Mumbai Indians’ consecutive title triumphs in 2019 and 2020, de Kock was one of the key architects behind the team’s triumph.
The South African wicket-keeper-batter is now representing the Barbados Tridents in the ongoing CPL season of 2026. The veteran batter has already made an impact with his batting performance.
3. Rahmanullah Gurbaz

Rahmanullah Gurbaz was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders’ IPL-winning campaign in 2024, making him a crucial part of one of the IPL-winning sides. Although Phil Salt was KKR’s first-choice keeper-batter on the side, Gurbaz remained part of the squad, and played important role in playoffs.
In CPL 2026, the Afghan opener is playing for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, mostly opening the innings alongside Shai Hope.
4. Moeen Ali

The English all-rounder Moeen Ali won the IPL twice in his career, both times with the Chennai Super Kings in 2021 and 2023. He was an important part of CSK’s triumph in the 2023 season, contributing with both the bat and ball.
The former England all-rounder has been appointed as the captain of the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons in CPL 2026. The all-rounder is highly experienced and is expected to contribute with both the bat and ball.
5. Imran Tahir
The former South African spinner remains one of the most in-form spinners in T20 leagues around the world despite his old age. Imran Tahir’s IPL trophy cabinet includes two titles, both won with the Chennai Super Kings in 2018 and 2021.
Tahir remains closely associated with the Guyana Amazon Warriors, the franchise he first captained to their maiden CPL title in 2023. He continues as the captain of the CPL franchise in 2026.
