Jasprit Bumrah posts a cryptic message on social media after MI trade in Hardik Pandya ahead of IPL 2024
Jasprit Bumrah has played 120 games and picked 145 wickets for Mumbai Indians in his IPL career.
As the trade rumours are on about Jasprit Bumrah, he has finally broken the silence with a cryptic Instagram story. Following the trade of Hardik Pandya to Mumbai Indians from Gujarat Titans, rumours are on about Jasprit Bumrah making a shift from Mumbai Indians to Gujarat Titans. Bumrah’s story has caused a stir in social media as the fans are wondering what to follow after a big IPL trade. IPL trading window is on till 12th December.
Jasprit Bumrah is part of the Mumbai Indians camp and he has been a regular feature in the MI’s playing XI. Jasprit Bumrah’s Instagram story reads, “Silence is sometimes the best answer.” Few of the fans have also connected Bumrah’s story with the recent ICC Cricket World Cup Final loss against Australia at Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Nobody from the Indian camp responded to the heart-breaking loss so far.
Fan theories started pouring in
Fan theories have also started coming up as a few of the fans claimed that Jasprit Bumrah has unfollowed Mumbai Indians from Instagram as well. A few of them notified that Bumrah is currently following Royal Challengers Bangalore and his new home could be RCB. He made his IPL debut against RCB and became a big thing in Indian cricket in no time. While a section of fans believing Bumrah’s Instagram story may not be related to cricket or IPL.
Mumbai Indians have brought in Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans and he is now seen as future leader of the MI camp. Rohit Sharma might be left with only a few years in his Mumbai Indians career and MI were looking for a successor of one of the finest leaders. Hardik’s entry in MI also dent Jasprit Bumrah’s chances of becoming captain and a few of the fans believe that Bumrah might be feeling insecure and willing to leave Mumbai Indians.
Jasprit Bumrah made his debut against Royal Challengers Bangalore at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in the IPL 2013. Virat’s first IPL wicket was Virat Kohli, Bumrah has so far played 120 games for MI and picked up 145 wickets in his career. Bumrah is not part of India’s ongoing five-match T20I series against Australia but he will be taking part in the upcoming tour to South Africa. India will be touring South Africa for a month-long tour next month.
