He retired from international cricket on April 20, 2022; however, he has continued to play franchise cricket. He has played in almost all major franchise cricket leagues across the nation, including the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Major League Cricket (MLC), Big Bash League (BBL) and more.
However, in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the 39-year-old played for only one franchise: the Mumbai Indians. He played a total of 189 games for the five-time champions across 13 seasons, scoring 3412 runs and taking 69 wickets. Pollard has the stature of an IPL legend.
However, the 39-year-old has joined hands with the Mumbai Indians‘ arch-nemesis franchise.
