He has now opened up about all the social media and media buzz players tackle in between a big series or a big tournament.

Lucknow Super Giants' full-time captain KL Rahul opened up about the social media trolling players get after poor performances. He talked about the trolling and accepted that this hurt players in every aspect. KL Rahul said, “That’s something that sometimes affects me and affects a lot of boys as well. When we athletes truly need support, people feel they can or have the power to comment or say what they want. Just see what the person is going through”. Rahul was having a chat with a youtube channel ‘BeerBiceps’. Recently he was also trolled by social media users for a pic he posted on Instagram walking with crutches.

The Indian batter also added that he and most of the other cricketers have no other option than playing cricket. Rahul added, “None of us want to perform badly. This is our life. This is all we do. As I said, I don’t know anything apart from playing cricket and that’s the only thing I do”. Social media really takes a toll on a few players, as it gets brutal and illogical sometimes. KL Rahul has been among the victims of several social media memes across platforms.
